Laser Assisted Perio Therapy (LAPT) is an exceptional method for reducing deep pockets. Rather than more invasive therapy, such as pocket reduction surgery involving scalpels and cutting the gums back, we can use a laser to eliminate disease causing bacteria from the pocket between the gum and tooth. Most patients experience little to no recovery time.
